Northborn Deer-Tiger

A muscular quadruped mammal with hooves, horns, fangs and spots. A truly unique organism found in cold, snowy environments. Deer-tigers hunted small prey with their short, sharp fangs--mostly stoffs, frostoquads, and young vengeful ewes. Despite being predators, northborn deer-tigers were also a common prey for northwulves.

Compared to their more common relative (southborn deer-tigers), northborn deer-tigers had shorter fangs and lacked blunted incisors and molars. This accommodated their completely carnivorous lifestyle while their more temperate-dwelling cousins were omnivorous. Other distinct differences were their antlers, which were more splayed, and their fur, which was thicker and spotted as opposed to short and striped.
